The Department of Premier and Cabinet WA has made the following appointments:

Tegan Sapwell has been promoted to Media Director. She initially joined the team in 2021 as Senior Media Advisor. Prior to this, Tegan was a journalist at Nine and Network 10.A
Kate Phillips has stepped up as Deputy Media Director. She was also previously Senior Media Adviser at the department. Kate's in-house experience spans more than a decade, with multiple roles within the government sector, as well as a career in journalism.
Dylan Caporn has been welcomed as Principal Media Advisor. He has made the move into comms after 13 years in journalism, which includes roles at The West Australian.
