Qatar's Years of Culture initiative welcomes comms director

The Years of Culture initiative, Qatar’s cultural exchange programme that partners the country with other nations for long-term cooperation across heritage, creative industries, social, and economic development and innovation, has welcomed Anya Kotova as Director of Communications.

In this role, Anya oversees the global communication efforts for the initiative. She has more than 18 years of experience in comms from roles at Ketchum, Teneo, and BLJ Worldwide, where she was most recently Senior Director, Head of Arts and Culture Practice.

Sidney started his career as a journalist covering Chinese political economy and finance for English-language media outlets, including the South China Morning Post, Foreign Policy Magazine and National Public Radio.
