MCMPR strengthens leadership as agency enters next phase of growth

Sydney-based communications agency, MCMPR, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Sarah Young as Managing Director, as it approaches its 30-year anniversary later this year.

Sarah joins MCMPR with more than 20 years' experience across public relations, communications, and integrated marketing. She has previously held Managing Director roles at Australian agencies, where she led teams and delivered campaigns for local and international consumer and lifestyle brands.

As Managing Director, Sarah will work alongside Founder and CEO of MCMPR, Marie-Claude Mallat , and the agency's leadership team to guide the agency through its next stage of growth, oversee operations, client services, team development, and business strategy.

"Approaching our 30-year milestone is an important moment to reflect on how far we've come, but even more importantly, where we're headed," said Marie-Claude.

Full-service communications agency, iD Collective, has been appointed by kitchenware retailer, Global Retail Brands Australia (GRBA), to deliver strategic PR, media relations, digital, and influencer communications support across its portfolio.

Elevate Communication announces new client win

Brisbane-based integrated marketing and communication agency, Elevate Communication, has been appointed retained external communication agency of record for global bus, motorcoach, and marine transport services operator, Kelsian Group.

The retainer covers Kelsian's Australian business, including Transit Systems, with a national remit spanning earned media, C-suite profiling, and issues and crisis communications support.

The account will be led by Elevate’s senior media and corporate communication team, headed by General Manager, Amanda Gormley.

Lazada has appointed TEAM LEWIS as its public relations agency of record in Malaysia, following a competitive pitch.

Under the remit, the agency will lead Lazada Malaysia’s communications strategy across an integrated scope, spanning storytelling, media relations, press office and campaign management, and thought leadership development.
