Linkd Tourism expands destination portfolio

Australia-based travel PR and marketing representation firm, Linkd Tourism, has been appointed to represent Okinawa, Japan in the Australian market after winning a competitive tender.

Linkd Tourism's Account Manager, Sally Miles, will lead the account’s B2B focus under the direction of Millie Browne, Linkd Trade Director, with consumer activity and PR also in the scope of services for the next 12 months, managed by Christina Koullas.

Millie said: "Okinawa appreciated our fresh approach and creativity when responding to the RFP, as well as our track record of achieving what others would call ambitious targets.

"And with Sally’s eight years of experience with Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), her Japanese language fluency and Okinawan heritage, she brings additional expertise to promote Visit Okinawa Japan. The appointment of Linkd Tourism to the Okinawa account further strengthens our outbound work to Japan, including another recent win to continue our management of the JNTO expo events in August 2025 and February 2026."
