Windey Energy Technology Group names Global PR Director

Chinese renewable energy service provider and wind turbine manufacturer, Windey Energy Technology Group, has welcomed Chengzhi Xu as Global Chief Public Relations Director. In his new appointment, he oversees international governmental relationships to increase Windey's presence in the international market.

Chengzhi brings over two decade of experience to his new role. Based in Beijing, he most recently managed foreign affairs for China Tianying, a listed company engaged in zero-carbon clean energy business, smart urban environmental services, and resource recycling.

Prior to joining Ashbury, he was Associate Director of Financial Communications at Burson and has also worked in branding and marketing at FinTech unicorn Micro Connect, and in communications at Huatai International.

Sidney started his career as a journalist covering Chinese political economy and finance for English-language media outlets, including the South China Morning Post, Foreign Policy Magazine and National Public Radio.
