Shanghai Commercial Bank appoints corp comms and marketing chief

Shanghai Commercial Bank has named Eva Leung as Chief of Corporate Communications and Marketing, effective 18 August 2025. 
 
With experience in strategic communications, brand development, and stakeholder engagement, Eva leads external and internal communications to strengthen the bank’s corporate narrative and relationships with clients, partners, and communities. She also works to drive brand awareness and the bank’s reputation across key markets.
 
“As we celebrate our 75th anniversary this year and position ourselves for the next wave of growth in the years to come, clear communication of what we stand for and the value we aim to deliver to our customers will be key to our success,” said Wallace Lam, Chief Executive of Shanghai Commercial Bank. “Eva’s proven track record in shaping brands across markets makes her ideally suited to lead our communications and marketing agenda. We are delighted to welcome her to the management team.”
