VIVA! Communications strengthens its team

Health and wellness communications agency, VIVA! Communications, has appointed Sophia 'Fifi' Heather as Account Director. She joined the agency with experience in strategic healthcare communications, having led campaigns across Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.

In the new role, Fifi will be responsible for managing a portfolio of pharmaceutical, biotech, and MedTech clients. Her remit also includes growing the agency's ethical healthcare practice, strengthening relationships with senior leaders in the industry, and supporting VIVA!'s expansion across APAC through its partnership with the Global Health Marketing & Communications network.

In addition to Fifi's appointment, the agency has promoted Sam Jacobs to Account Manager, and welcomed Lauren Corby and Alia Din as Senior Account Executives.

Raffles Hotels & Resorts appoints regional PR agency for Asia

COMPANION COMMUNICATIONS has been appointed as the regional agency for Raffles Hotels & Resorts. The mandate encompasses public relations, marketing communications, strategic advisory, storytelling, partnerships, content creation, and crisis support for Raffles Hotels & Resorts in the Asian region.

This announcement comes after key hospitality wins at COMPANION in recent months, including the launch of Capella at Galaxy Macau in Macau, the launch of Andaz One Bangkok in Thailand, and the global retainer for Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong. In addition, the agency has held the regional PR retainer account for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts for the past two years.
