Telekom Malaysia names new VP of strategic communications

Asril Idris has stepped into the role of VP, Strategic Communications at Telekom Malaysia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he oversees a suite of functions, including media relations, employer branding, crisis communications, as well as thought leadership for the telecommunications company.

Asril first started his career in Telekom Malaysia�s corporate communications department in 2000 and later ventured into the government sector in 2013. He returned to the company in 2018 and most recently served as Head, Employee Engagement & Culture.
