Karena Noble has taken on a permanent role at IHG Hotels & Resorts as Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs, Australasia Pacific. For the past year and a half, she had been running her own consultancy, Karena Noble Communications, working on projects for clients, including hotels conference AHICE, Stockland, and IHG.

Backed by over two decades' experience as a senior communications professional, Karena has led comms teams across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors, including at EVT, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, Switzerland Tourism and hotels investment fund, Pro-invest.

The Victoria Tourism Industry Council has welcomed Lisa Patroni as Chief Executive Officer. Her leadership role will focus on fostering connections, advancing policy advocacy, and enhancing member engagement through targeted research and education initiatives.

Lisa was previously Executive Director Marketing, Communications and Partnerships at Parks Victoria for nearly eight years. Prior to this, she was at the Victoria Racing Club.

Horizon Communication Group has promoted Lucinda Adler-Ryan and Ariane Krug to the role of Account Director. The pair were previously Senior Account Managers.

Lucinda has been at Horizon for four years, while Ariane joined in 2023, following her time at FleishmanHillard.
