Shane Cowlishaw has taken up a permanent role at Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People as Head of Communications. He initially joined the government ministry at the end of 2024 in a short-term role, following five years at Oranga Tamariki - Ministry for Children.
Backed by a career spanning more than 15 years, Shane previously held a career in journalism, which include roles at Newsroom NZ, Fairfax Media, and The Dominion Post.
