Sefiani and Staffbase announce strategic employee communications and engagement technology partnership

Strategic marketing communications consultancy Sefiani, part of Clarity Global, has announced a strategic partnership with AI-native employee experience platform, Staffbase.

As Staffbase's first employee communications consultancy partner in Australia and New Zealand, the partnership aims to bridge the gap between internal communications strategy and workplace engagement. It will support in-house communications and HR teams to scale tailored, data-driven internal communications across both frontline and desk-based workforces.

The partnership follows Sefiani's recent research into employee uncertainty around AI and global disruption, surveying 1,000 Australian workers. The findings show 53 per cent are concerned about economic challenges affecting their role, while 43 per cent worry AI could replace human jobs. Fewer than one-third of organisations have communicated an AI policy, with employee reactions mixed where policies are in place.

Sefiani Managing Partner, Mandy Galmes, said: "We're seeing a growing disconnect between the investment organisations are making in AI and technology tools, and the day-to-day reality of the employee experience, especially on the frontline.

"For employee engagement to drive real impact in this landscape, technology and strategy must work in lockstep. We partnered with Staffbase because their platform provides the vital infrastructure to reach the modern, distributed workforce. Together, we ensure these powerful tools are guided by a clear strategic narrative and robust governance, empowering organisations to genuinely engage their entire workforce and drive ROI."

Sefiani and Staffbase work with teams across ANZ, with an offer that includes insight-led audits to assess communication effectiveness, targeted employee engagement strategies, and AI-enabled multi-channel delivery across MS365 workflows. It also supports organisations through major change and transformation programs, alongside measurement frameworks designed to track engagement and link internal communications to business outcomes.
