Regional corporate affairs appointment at IHG Hotels & Resorts

Charlene Tan has been elevated to Director, Corporate Affairs, Southeast Asia & Korea at IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Based in Singapore, she spearheads the corporate affairs agenda for the region, overseeing communications, public affairs, employee engagement, and community impact. Charlene has accumulated more than 17 years of communications experience, having worked at various organisations including Expedia Group and Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts.

In addition to her new role, she will continue as Chief of Staff for APAC.

Caroline’s experience spans both agency and in-house roles. She brings expertise across the full consumer communications landscape, including earned media, influencer strategy, digital, brand activations, and events. Before joining Edelman, she spent nine years at independent agency FORWARD, where she served as General Manager and later Managing Director.
