New Head of Corporate Communications at Visa

Sharmine Ishak (Sam) has joined Visa as Head of Corporate Communications. Based in Malaysia, he leads both external and internal communications for the payments organisation, working closely with sales and functional teams to support and advance Visa�s key business priorities in the country.

Reporting to Previn Pillay, Country Manager for Visa Malaysia, and Grace Tan, Head of Corporate Communications, Regional Southeast Asia (SMT), Sam is responsible for driving strategic communications around Commercial & Money Movement Solutions and Risk & Fraud Solutions - while identifying opportunities to spotlight Visa�s product innovations and Value-Added Services (VAS) capabilities.

He moved from Lazada and has held comms roles at organisations including Ogilvy and Golden Screen Cinemas.
