MTI names comms partners for Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) has appointed We. Communications as public relations partner and GOVT VCCP as lead integrated campaign agency to support Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2027, following a competitive pitch process.

Under the remit, GOVT VCCP will spearhead integrated campaign strategy, while We. Communications will lead earned media and public relations. Both agencies have been engaged as a consortium for communications work across creative, content and media, tied to the ASEAN Economic Community pillar.

Daryl Ho, Managing Director, We. Communications Singapore, said: "Singapore's ASEAN Chairmanship presents an opportunity for the region's priorities and progress to resonate beyond the room, and we are grateful for MTI’s trust in us to help amplify that story.

"This creative and communications collaboration with GOVT VCCP strengthens our ability to offer clients an integrated model that combines creative thinking with communications strategy, helping ideas move seamlessly from concept to conversation."

Ariff Communications secures new wins and renewals

Ariff Communications has announced several client wins and renewals, including a new one-year appointment from JETOUR Malaysia.

Under the remit, the team will support JETOUR’s communications efforts in Malaysia, as the automotive brand looks to strengthen visibility and brand awareness in the local market.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has renewed its partnership with the agency for another two years, continuing the collaboration to support Hong Kong’s communications efforts in Malaysia from 2026 to 2028. Over the past year, Ariff Communications has supported the tourism board through media engagement, influencer collaborations and market-led storytelling.

The agency is also continuing its partnership with Hisense until 2027, extending its role in supporting the brand’s communications in Malaysia.

Aisya Hashim, Director at Ariff Communications, said: “Brands today are not only looking for visibility. They are looking for relevance, trust and communications that can move with the pace of culture.”

“These wins and renewals mean a lot to us because they reflect both new confidence in our capabilities and the trust we have built with long-term partners. Whether we are working with an automotive brand, a tourism board, an airline, a consumer technology company or an F&B brand, our role remains the same: to help brands tell stories that matter to the audiences they serve,” she added.

Zephyr Agency launches with a full service communications offering

Media communications agency, Zephyr PR, and full-service marketing agency, Revolution Creative Group, have announced the launch of Zephyr Agency, a new brand created to bring together strategic communications, creative solutions, and digital services.

The launch follows Zephyr PR’s acquisition of PDPR Marketing and Creative in March 2025 and the subsequent opening of their Melbourne office.

Operating from its Gold Coast headquarters and Melbourne office, Zephyr Agency will provide clients with access to an integrated team across public relations, branding, digital marketing, content production, and creative services.

The agency will be led by CEO, Rebbecca Davis, who brings over 20 years’ experience in strategic communications, brand development, and business leadership across industries including property and construction, professional services, health and wellbeing, hospitality, technology, and government.

Rebbecca said the launch reflects the evolution of the agencies’ shared vision to deliver an integrated approach to communications, creative solutions, and brand growth for their growing client base.

“While this marks a new chapter, we want to be clear that we’re not stepping onto unfamiliar ground. For over six years, we’ve continued to expand our services and along the way we have uncovered the special synergy that exists when the people writing your media release are working alongside those building your website and shooting your content,” she said.

“Zephyr Agency reflects the way we’ve already been working with clients, bringing together strategic thinking, creative execution and communications expertise to deliver stronger outcomes. This integrated model allows us to think bigger, move faster and expertly deliver outcomes that are both creative and commercially effective.”

Zephyr Agency plans to continue to grow its national footprint, supporting clients across Australia and international markets. Meanwhile, Revolution Creative Group will continue operating independently while supporting existing client agreements through to April 2027.
