Merck Healthcare has appointed Ricola Furtado as Head of Communications & Policy for the Gulf region. She brings more than 15 years of strategic communications and PR experience to the role, having worked with agencies including Incubeta, Edelman, Ketchum, and Fifth Ring.

At Edelman, Ricola last served as Head of Operations for the Middle East region.
