Sydney-based communications agency, MCMPR, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Sarah Young as Managing Director, as it approaches its 30-year anniversary later this year.
Sarah joins MCMPR with more than 20 years' experience across public relations, communications, and integrated marketing. She has previously held Managing Director roles at Australian agencies, where she led teams and delivered campaigns for local and international consumer and lifestyle brands.
As Managing Director, Sarah will work alongside Founder and CEO of MCMPR, Marie-Claude Mallat , and the agency's leadership team to guide the agency through its next stage of growth, oversee operations, client services, team development, and business strategy.
"Approaching our 30-year milestone is an important moment to reflect on how far we've come, but even more importantly, where we're headed," said Marie-Claude.
"Sarah brings an incredible breadth of experience leading high-performing agencies. She has a strategic mindset, exceptional commercial acumen, and a collaborative leadership style that made her a natural fit from day one. Together with our teams, we're building on MCMPR's strong foundations while evolving our capabilities to meet the future of communications and the changing needs of our clients."
Sarah said the opportunity to join MCMPR came at an exciting point in the agency's journey.
"MCMPR has built an incredible reputation over three decades for delivering exceptional work and lasting client partnerships. It's an exciting time to join the business as it continues to evolve. I'm looking forward to working alongside Marie-Claude and the wider team to strengthen our strategic and data-informed capabilities, foster innovation, and help shape the agency's next chapter."
