Mango Communications Aotearoa welcomes Group Business Director

Mango Communications Aotearoa has announced the appointment of Becky Erwood as Group Business Director. In the new role, she will oversee client relationships, drive strategic growth and lead teams, working with local and global brands across fashion, lifestyle, food and FMCG.

Originally from the UK, Becky brings more than 25 years' experience in strategic communications, brand management, and advocacy to the agency, having worked across sectors including retail, apparel, food and beverage, and primary industries. She relocated to New Zealand in 2013, joining Pead PR, where she rose to become Managing Director.

Most recently, Becky co-founded FED., a ready meal delivery service, and has been an advocate for the hospitality industry, serving as the external communications and PR lead for the Restaurant Association of New Zealand.

Mango Communications Aotearoa's Managing Director, Sean Brown, welcomed the appointment, highlighting the value of Erwood�s diverse experience: "We are thrilled to welcome Becky to the team. Her background in both agency leadership and entrepreneurship, combined with her strategic approach to communications, will be a tremendous asset to Mango and our clients."

Based in Sydney, she will be overseeing communications strategy, execution, and agency management in key markets including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, and emerging markets across Southeast Asia. Prior to this role, she was the Co-Owner and Director of Adhesive PR for 10 years. Previous to that, Myf founded and headed up Frank PR, which opened in 2009 in Sydney, following three years that she spent working at their London HQ. She has over 20 years of Communications experience under her belt.
