Brunswick has appointed Azhar Khan as Head of Brunswick’s Abu Dhabi office. The appointment will be effective as of 1^st January 2026.Azhar has been an advisor to global organisations on complex, high-stakes issues in multiple markets, including the UK, India and the Middle East, for two decades. He has co-led Brunswick's India practice since its establishment more than a decade ago and remains a core member of the firm's global India team.

"The breadth of Ashar's expertise and his international experience particularly across the India, Middle East and Africa region, will be hugely valuable as we continue to expand our presence in the Gulf and support our growing client base in Abu Dhabi at a pivotal time for the city and the UAE," said Rob Pinker, Chair, Emerging Markets and Regional Head, IMEA, at Brunswick.

Nick Johnson has been appointed Senior Advisor, Communications at Citi. He has finished a stint at Australian payments and regulated data services provider, Cuscal, as Senior Transformation Business Partner. 

Nick has also worked in-house within the IT sector, as well as agency-side at Hausmann Communications and Hill & Knowlton.
