Katie Aung has stepped up to Director of Marketing and PR at Meranti Green Steel, a green iron and steel company with offices in Thailand, Singapore, and Oman. Based in Bangkok, she leads the company’s global marketing and communications strategy, overseeing PR activities across APAC, the Middle East, and Europe.
With more than 9 years of experience across APAC, Katie has held senior marketing and communications roles spanning the agency, corporate, and technology sectors.
Myfanwy McGregor has been welcomed to the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board as Director Global Communications, Asia Pacific. Based in Sydney, she will be overseeing communications strategy, execution, and agency management in key markets including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, and emerging markets across Southeast Asia. Prior to this role, she was the Co-Owner and Director of Adhesive PR for 10 years. Previous to that, Myf founded and headed up Frank PR, which opened in 2009 in Sydney, following three years that she spent working at their London HQ. She has over 20 years of Communications experience under her belt.
Jon Tan has joined Opera Academy Singapore as Director of Marketing Communications. In this role, he will oversee the academy’s marketing outreach and strategic communications, as well as head the Chinese Opera and develop its portfolio.
Jon brings over 15 years of experience in communications strategy, digital marketing, and brand transformation, with previous roles at OrangeTee & Tie, ERA Singapore, Far East, and SEAT Singapore.
