Wyndham Singapore has appointed Gilbert Ong as Assistant Director of Marketing Communications. With more than 14 years of industry experience spanning the hospitality, sustainability and maritime sectors, he now heads the hotel’s marketing and communications function, overseeing brand strategy, media relations, digital engagement and integrated campaigns.
Gilbert's prior experience include serving as Corporate Director and Cluster Director of Marketing Communications at Millennium Hotels and Resorts, as well as leading communications departments at Grand Mercure, Grand Park City Hall, the Singapore Environment Council, and Kuok Maritime Group.
