Galaxy Entertainment Group welcomes new AVP

Jessica Makin has been appointed to lead APAC communications at health tech company, ŌURA. She is welcomed to the team after close to seven years at Amazon Australia, most recently as Head of Communications for Australia and Singapore.

Jessica brings more than two decades of communications experience across agency and in-house roles, including at Scentre Group, David Jones, and One Green Bean.

Matthew Peacock has been welcomed at NSW Farmers as Public Affairs Manager. He was recently at Dentsu Creative Public Relations for nearly four years, where he was last Head of Agribusiness and Sustainability. Prior to this, Matthew held comms roles at Meat & Livestock Australia. 

Patrick Avenell has been welcomed as Communications Manager at National Intermodal. He has previously worked in communications roles at APA Group, Centennial and LJ Hooker.
