Telum Media hosted its latest Telum Talks in Singapore on Tuesday, 14th April 2026, featuring Jaime Ho, Editor at The Straits Times. The discussion was moderated by John Chang, Business Development Lead, APAC Growth Markets at Telum Media.

The session explored the publication’s core audience, editorial vision, and key editorial priorities, offering attendees a deeper understanding of its editorial direction.

During the discussion, Jaime also shared insights into the types of stories that resonate most with the newsroom, particularly amid the surge of information, rise of alternative platforms, and emergence of AI.

In the Q&A segment, attendees received practical tips on pitching to the publication, including email etiquette and the relationship-building “homework” expected of communicators. Other topics such as emerging audiences and the application of AI tools were also discussed. The event concluded with a networking session.
