DARKHORSE founder set to join Special PR

Special PR has announced the appointment of Liam Taylor as Business Development Director in its Auckland office. This comes after he stepped down as Creative Director and Founder of global brand and experiential agency, DARKHORSE, which he co-founded in 2012.

Liam will officially start his new journey on the 12 th of May, with a remit to bolster Special PR's existing New Zealand portfolio, while driving growth and new business opportunities.

Special PR Managing Director, Kelly Grindle, said: "Special PR experienced rapid growth in its infancy, and as we shift into this next phase, we want to do so responsibly. This means investing strategically in our senior leadership for the benefit of our team and clients.

"We couldn't think of anyone more suited for the role than Liam. His depth of experience and creative brilliance will help further cement Special PR’s work as a global benchmark for the industry."

Liam's appointment marks the latest in a run of senior hires, with former Mango Experiential Group Business Director, Jessica McColl, joining the team earlier this year as Head of Brand Experience.

Prior to this role, she was the Co-Owner and Director of Adhesive PR for 10 years.
