Changes to ING's communications team

Peter Gurney is set to relocate to Amsterdam to take on a global role at ING. He has spent the past two and a half years as Head of Corporate Affairs at ING Australia, where he led the bank's internal and external communications, as well as its sustainability, industry and government relations functions.

Peter brings over two decades of communications experience, having previously held leadership roles at a range of Australian companies, including Boral, IAG, and nbn.

Adrian Christie has been appointed as Peter's successor, stepping into the role of Head of Corporate Affairs at ING Australia. He joined from Foxtel Group, where he most recently served as Executive Director, Group Communications.

Adrian's career spans more than 25 years across in-house and agency roles, with previous senior appointments at ALDI, Ogilvy PR, PayPal, and Sony.

Myfanwy McGregor has been welcomed to the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board as Director Global Communications, Asia Pacific. Based in Sydney, she will be overseeing communications strategy, execution, and agency management in key markets including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, and emerging markets across Southeast Asia. Prior to this role, she was the Co-Owner and Director of Adhesive PR for 10 years. Previous to that, Myf founded and headed up Frank PR, which opened in 2009 in Sydney, following three years that she spent working at their London HQ. She has over 20 years of Communications experience under her belt.
