Burson announces appointment of CEO, China

Burson has named Maggie Lu as CEO, China. As part of her remit, she oversees the agency�s business across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, and is responsible for client satisfaction, agency growth, and talent management. She reports to HS Chung, North APAC CEO.A

Based in Shanghai, Maggie brings nearly 26 years of experience to her new role, the last 20 of which have been with Burson China. Having started out her career as a journalist for China Daily, she joined Hill & Knowlton as Senior Account Executive and steadily rose through the ranks, holding senior leadership roles such as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Manager and Deputy Managing Director. Most recently, she was Managing Director at Burson Shanghai.A
