Bastion appoints Marketing Manager to accelerate growth

Australasian independent marketing and communications agency, Bastion, has announced the appointment of Madeleine Leonard as Marketing Manager.

Most recently at Dentsu, Madeleine played a part in driving internal and external communications, managing executive operations, and delivering strategic employee initiatives across multi-market teams.

She brings a blend of strategic communications, senior stakeholder engagement and integrated marketing experience, honed over an international career spanning globally listed corporations, boutique agencies, and various teams.

Reporting to Bastion ANZ CEO, Cheuk Chiang, Madeleine will oversee the agency’s marketing strategy, leading initiatives that elevate brand visibility, strengthen market positioning, and support business development. She will work closely with Cheuk Chiang and agency leaders to align marketing efforts with commercial goals across client’s marketing challenges.

Cheuk Chiang said the appointment signalled a new chapter in how they tell their story: "Her breadth of experience from integrated marketing and executive alignment to internal engagement and communications makes her a powerful asset as we sharpen our focus on sales and marketing to fuel our next phase of growth."
