Zannie Abbott assumes new responsibilities

Zannie Abbott has taken on the role of Head of Marketing and Communications at eBay Australia. Based in Sydney, she first joined the business in 2022 and has since held senior roles spanning communications, content and social, and integrated marketing campaigns.
 
With more than 20 years' experience, Zannie brings expertise across brand, PR and marketing leadership. Her career includes senior agency leadership roles and the co-founding of a visual production agency, where she partnered with a range of brands to deliver culturally relevant, creative-led marketing, and communications strategies.

Tuan Atiqa Tuan Rahim has been promoted to Regional Strategy Consultant at SW Strategies.

Based in Kuala Lumpur and part of the regional leadership team, Atiqa will play a key role in supporting and overseeing markets across Southeast Asia, with a focus on strategic outreach and client success.

Tennis Australia has appointed Jesse Failla as Publicity Manager - Events and Performance. He joined the organisation after more than seven years at Zoos Victoria, where he was most recently Senior Reporter for Werribee Open Range Zoo.

Jesse previously worked with Tennis Australia's media team for the 2015 Australian Open, before taking up publicity roles at Village Roadshow.

Guan-Yu Shr has started a new role as Vice President of Communications at HSBC in Taiwan. She is responsible for managing communication strategies for the bank's consumer banking division.

With close to a decade of communications and journalist experience, Guan-Yu got her start as a Business Reporter for the Economic Daily News and anue. She went on work in communications at companies including JTI and PCA Life Assurance, as well as most recently, Nestle, where she focused on corporate communications and sustainability.
