Winners announced at Singapore Press Club Awards 2025

The new, expanded Singapore Press Club Awards has announced 10 winners at the Club�s fourth Awards Night held on 16 th July 2025.

The awards recognise journalists and other media-related professionals who have excelled in their craft and whose work made an impact. This year also marks the first time where the event was celebrated as a standalone occasion, separate from the annual Press Ball. Guest-of-Honour, Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information, delivered a speech and presented trophies and prizes to the winners.

Telum Media was the sponsor for the category of Rising Stars Young Professional Award, which was presented to Rohit Khattar, Senior Account Executive at The Hoffman Agency Singapore and Yanant Htet Aung, Senior Associate at Penta Group.

Three new honours were included in the expanded list this year - the Finance Journalism Award, the Health Journalism Award, and the Tech Journalism Award. The Singapore Press Club also inducted 10 more veterans into its Singapore Media Industry Hall of Fame, which recognises the outstanding and lasting contributions of media professionals.

Bhagman Singh, the Club�s Vice President and Chairperson of the Awards Committee, said, �Right from our launch in 2022, we have been receiving a healthy number of quality nominations for the various award categories. This year was no different. The judges had to work hard to select the winners. The nominations reflect the industry�s high standards and the winners are truly deserving of the recognition.�
