Victoria Racing Club names Head of Communications & PR

Victoria Racing Club has appointed Shaun Anderson as Head of Communications & PR. He was previously at Crown Resorts, most recently as General Manager - Media & Corporate Affairs, while also spending time in the Corporate Communications team at Coles Group, before joining the VRC.

Shaun's communications experience spans two decades, with senior roles within the sports and sports entertainment sectors.

With over a decade of experience spanning both financial and non-financial sectors, Serene previously held roles at DBS Bank and, most recently, Income Insurance, where she was Senior Manager, Strategic Communications.

Pressie 2025 finalists revealed

The finalists for the eighth annual Pressie Awards have been announced. The awards will celebrate the best PR, experiential, and social campaigns in Aotearoa New Zealand, spanning 12 categories, from Best Use of Media Relations to Young Practitioner of the Year.

The 2025 winners will be announced at the awards show, which will be held on Wednesday, 12th November at Okahu Bay in Auckland.
