Steve Macmillan tapped to lead corporate affairs

Emilie Zhang has been appointed as the Director of Marketing Communications at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong. In this role, she drives PR and marketing communications strategy, including overseeing media relations, content and brand messaging, partnerships, and promotional campaigns to enhance visibility and engagement.

Emilie brings close to a decade of experience from her previous roles at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and most recently, Langham Hospitality Group. 

Cloud marketplace company, Pax8, has appointed Vanessa Cremona as Communications Lead, APAC. Based in Sydney, she joined the team after more than seven years at Rackspace Technology, most recently serving as Head of Communications & Brand Asia-Pacific / Japan (APJ).

Prior to moving into the tech sector, Vanessa worked as an editor across a range of magazines and held communications roles with clients spanning the fashion, design, and travel sectors. 

VisitBritain Sydney has welcomed the addition of Nadine Ghanem as Communications Manager ANZ. She takes up the role on a 12-month contract basis after a stint as Account Director at Eight Communications.

With over two decades of experience in PR and communications, Nadine has worked across agency, state government tourism, and not-for-profit sectors.
