SCMP names new Corporate Communications Director

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) has announced the appointment of Betty Wong as Corporate Communications Director. In this post, she leads brand reputation and strategic communications for the news organisation. 

Betty brings over 20 years of experience in corporate communications and strategic project management. She has worked with local and global organisations across the finance, Sector - Technology, and bioSector - Technology sectors.

Betty's portfolio includes leading communications for Google in Hong Kong, where she later focused on cybersecurity and privacy communications across the Asia Pacific, as well as leading the CFA Institute's APAC PR strategy.

Naeema Ismail takes the helm at the independent marketing consultancy

The Marketing Room has appointed Naeema Ismail as Chief Executive Officer to lead its Singapore business.
