Role expansion for Amelia Lim

Amelia Lim has taken on an expanded leadership role as Head of Corporate Communications at Shopee Malaysia, in addition to her ongoing role as Head of Public Relations for Sea Malaysia.

In this dual capacity, Amelia leads communications strategy for both entities, overseeing integrated brand narratives, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and public policy communications. Her responsibilities also include crisis and reputation management, as well as building thought leadership for senior executives at Shopee Mobile Malaysia

Amelia stated, "This new chapter allows me to deepen our communications impact across Shopee's dynamic marketplace. I'm looking forward to taking on a dual role that enables stronger narrative alignment and continued trust-building with Malaysian consumers, partners, and policymakers."

With nearly two decades of experience across agency and in-house leadership, Amelia joined Sea Malaysia after serving as Head of PR at Ampersand Advisory. Her career portfolio also includes senior roles at TNG Digital and GoBear.
