Nuanu onboards new PR manager

Cindy Aprilia has joined Nuanu as Manager for Public Relations, where she leads narrative development and media relations across the organisation’s initiatives.

Cindy brings communications experience from previous roles at GOODSTUPH, Weber Shandwick, and most recently Hill & Knowlton/Burson, where she served as Communications Manager.

She also brings experience in digital communications and creative work, with a focus on integrated 360° campaigns.

Kiana Harvey commences new gig as Senior Publicist

Kiana Harvey has joined the team at strategic communications group, Sound Story, as Senior Publicist. She will work alongside client SCA, focusing on 2DayFM Breakfast with Nath & Emma, Triple M Breakfast with Beau, Cat & Woodsy, and LiSTNR Podcasts. She has wrapped up her time at ARN as Publicist. Prior to this, Kiana was at NOVA, Seven and Southern Cross Austereo.

PRCA APAC launches award and professional network

PRCA APAC has announced the launch of the PRCA APAC Future Leaders Award 2026. It recognises emerging talent studying or working in marketing, PR, and communications across the region.

Participants are invited to submit an essay exploring the evolving PR and communications landscape in Asia Pacific. The registration deadline is 8th May 2026, with submissions due by 15th May 2026.

The organisation has also introduced PRCA APAC Rising Professionals Network (formerly known as the Next Gen Group). The network aims to bring together PR and communications professionals across Asia Pacific to help shape programmes and initiatives supporting the next generation of industry talent. Applications close on 4th May 2026.

Agnes Poon manages marcoms for Greater China and APAC

Agnes Poon has started a new role as Marketing & Communications Manager, Greater China & APAC at Marc Jacobs. In her latest remit, she oversees marketing, PR, and communications strategies for the Greater China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia markets. She also aims to drive regional brand growth, localise global campaigns, and increase Marc Jacobs’ brand awareness.

Based in Hong Kong, Agnes joined the brand in 2024 to assist with its APAC PR and marketing. Prior to that, she developed her fashion and lifestyle comms know-how at companies including PORTS, FERRAGAMO and I.T.
