New marcomms leader checks in at Padma Hotels & Resorts

Desiree Merlina has taken on the role of Corporate Director Marketing Communications at Padma Hotels and Resorts. Based in Bali, she oversees communications initiatives across five properties - Padma Hotel Legian, Padma Resort Ubud, Padma Hotel Semarang, Padma Hotel Bandung and Resinda Karawang.

Desiree brings more than two decades of hospitality communications experience from various organisations, including serving as part of the pre-opening team for The Westin Jakarta, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, and The St. Regis Jakarta.

Kinrise manufactures some of Australia's FMCG brands including Cobs Popcorn, Poppin' and Green's. She has wrapped up more than five years at Mars, most recently as Senior Manager, External Communications and Public Affairs ANZ. 

Erin previously co-founded her own communications agency, Modern Currency, following roles at iD Collective and wine company, Vinomofo.

Rhiannon Hornsey has joined global energy company, Santos as Chief of Staff. She was in the finance sector at Challenger for more than four years, most recently as Chief of Staff, responsible for leading its corporate affairs, sustainability and ESG functions. 

Rhiannon holds in-house experience within the insurance and banking sector, as well as agency-side at Weber Shandwick.
