Myjanne Jensen starts new role in local government

Myjanne Jensen has taken up a new opportunity as Communications Advisor - Office of the Mayor at Far North District Council. She was previously a Communications Advisor at Northland Regional Council and has also worked with clients under her own brand, Jensen Media, providing communications services as well as media coaching and training.

Myjanne brings a background in communications and journalism, with prior roles in New Zealand and Australia, including at NZME, News Corp Australia, and the ABC.

 Kainoa Blaisdell has rejoined FTI Consulting as a Managing Director within the strategic communications segment. He serves as a member of the firm's wider global financial communications and special situations practice and works closely with the regional and global leadership teams at large.

Having previously been part of FTI Consulting's strategic communications leadership team, Kainoa is tasked with advising clients on corporate communications and reputation management matters. He also supports the build-out of private markets and events-driven capabilities, particularly transactions, restructurings, litigation, and crisis communications.

PMSA bolsters comms team with managerial promotion

The Property Management Services Authority (PMSA), Hong Kong’s statutory regulator for the property management industry, has promoted Jeffrey Chau to Manager (Corporate Communications).

As division head, Jeffrey drives the authority’s public relations efforts to promote continuous development and professionalism in the property management sector through strategic media engagement, stakeholder outreach, public awareness campaigns, and initiatives that increase industry standards, transparency, and public trust.

Jeffrey joined PMSA in 2022, building on prior PR and marketing roles at Cyberport Hong Kong, foodpanda, and uSMART Securities. He also brings journalistic background as a Senior Reporter and Producer at NowTV Business News Channel.
