Mutant strengthens leadership team

Mutant has announced the promotion of Archana Menon to lead both Singapore and Malaysia markets, alongside the appointment of Allen Looi as Head of Social, as the agency looks to scale integrated offerings and regional growth.

Previously Country Manager for Malaysia, Archana will focus on scaling revenue and strengthening team culture across the two markets. She brings experience working with regional teams and clients such as Marriott, LEGOLAND Malaysia, and PepsiCo.

“Mutant has always been a place that values people, bold thinking, and real impact, and I’m incredibly proud to grow alongside the business,” Archana shared. “I’m excited to take the lessons gleaned from growing the Malaysia business to a dual role across both Singapore and Malaysia. Both markets have strong foundations, ambitious teams, and amazing clients, and I look forward to driving even greater integration, creativity and growth across the region.”

Commenting on both appointments, Joseph Barratt, Mutant CEO, said, “Archana has been instrumental in shaping our Malaysia business into a high-performing, people-first team that delivers both creative excellence and commercial results. Her expanded role reflects not just her own growth, but also the momentum we’re seeing across the region. At the same time, bringing Allen on board as our new Head of Social marks an exciting next chapter as we double down on integrated, content-led campaigns. Together, their leadership will be key in driving the next stage of growth across our most established markets.”
