Mereka welcomes new marcomms manager

Thanabalasingam (Thana) Balakrishnan has joined Mereka as Marketing & Communications Manager.

Based in Malaysia, he is responsible for the social enterprise’s brand and communications strategy, spanning public relations, storytelling, digital communications, and alumni engagement.

Thana’s prior communications experience includes roles at Brickfields Asia College, the Malaysian AIDS Council, MAHSA University, and LogiSYM.

After more than five and a half years at Stuff, senior investigative journalist Nadine Roberts is joining FarmRight as Marketing and Communications Specialist. She will commence her new role at the investment company on 10 August.

While stepping away from full-time journalism, Nadine will continue freelance reporting and feature writing.
