Kumudha Panneerchelvam assumes expanded comms remit

Kumudha Panneerchelvam has assumed an expanded role as Senior Manager, Corporate Communications at James Cook University.

She oversees the University's corporate communications function, including media relations, stakeholder engagement, reputation management and internal communications. Since joining the institution in 2025, she has contributed to internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.

Kumudha brings more than 12 years of communications experience from previous roles at SMRT and the Singapore Cancer Society, as well as agency positions supporting clients across multiple sectors.

Dalvinder Kaur takes on a global comms role

Filtrona has welcomed Dalvinder Jeet Kaur as Global Communications Manager, based in Singapore. In this capacity, she leads internal and external communications across the company’s nine locations globally. Former McCann Worldgroup APAC CCO launches Ginkgo Communications

A new boutique PR and communications consultancy, Ginkgo Communications, has launched in Singapore.

Founded and led by Sam Strauss, the consultancy offers PR and communications strategy support across reputation management, brand positioning, executive profiling, thought leadership, and fractional Chief Communications Officer services to organisations across Asia Pacific.

Sam brings more than 15 years of experience across the marketing, media, advertising, and creative services industries, providing strategic communications, reputation management, and brand-building counsel to agencies and brands. She most recently served as Chief Communications Officer, APAC, at McCann Worldgroup.

Ipsos names global chief comms officer

Ipsos has appointed Marion Beyret as Chief Communications Officer.

Reporting to Deputy CEO, Alexandre Boissy, Marion is responsible for the group's global communications strategy, reputation and stakeholder engagement, while leading communications teams across its international markets.

She joins from Stellantis, where she led Communications and Public Affairs for Europe. Earlier in her career, she held communications leadership roles at Air France-KLM, within French government ministries and the Presidency of the French Republic, as well as in the media sector.
