Thomas Jacob has stepped into the new role of Director - Media and Growth at Katalyst Consultancy. In this role, he leads the commercialisation of intelligence-led offerings and delivery models that create measurable value. He partners with client leads to elevate proposals and executive narratives, embeds end-to-end listening frameworks with sentiment, share of voice, and impact scoring, and governs risk-monitoring and escalation protocols aligned with compliance and reputation priorities.
Based in Dubai, Thomas brings 26 years of experience, having built and led media intelligence functions for WPP agencies in the UAE, including ASDA’A BCW and Burson, where he delivered decision-grade reporting across print, broadcast, online, and social.
He has also supported key programmes and events such as COP26, COP27, the World Government Summit, Expo 2020, and Saudi Arabia’s FIFA World Cup 2034 bid, and advised global brands including Boehringer Ingelheim, AstraZeneca, Merck, Anghami, Kimberly-Clark, Coursera (Global Skills Report), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Lucid Motors.
