Jess Varney returns to agency life

 Stakeholder advisory firm, Sodali & Co, has appointed Jack Brady as Managing Director, Head of Public Affairs. Based in Sydney, he joins from GRACosway, where he was most recently Senior Director.

Prior to that, Jack had a stint at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, following close to six years working in China, where he led AustCham Shanghai as CEO and Executive Director. 

Morris Communications has been launched in Qatar. Founded by Rachel Morris, the agency focuses exclusively on food and beverage (F&B), retail and hospitality brands, providing PR, content, and media relations services.

Rachel brings more than three decades of experience across communications and editorial. Most recently, she managed corporate communications at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, where she worked for 15 years.

Alongside her communications career, Rachel has run food blog Life on the Wedge since 2013, covering the food, beverage and restaurant scene in Qatar and beyond.

Before joining Hamad Medical Corporation, Rachel worked with agencies and media organisations including Hill & Knowlton Qatar, Dar Al Sharq Integrated Media, Arab Media Group and ACP Magazines. She began her career at The Daily Telegraph, where she spent more than 11 years as a Reporter.

Herd MSL has welcomed Amy Dyson as Senior Account Director. She was previously Account Director at The Mint Partners, following ten years at Edelman in London.
