Deputy Director for Corp Comms appointed at ASUS

ASUS has promoted Edward Barbour-Lacey as Deputy Director, Corporate Communications. Based in Taipei, he is responsible for bolstering the company's international PR, product event PR, and internal communications. He also serves as managing editor for ASUS's in-house copywriting team. 

Edward joined the computer and hardware manufacturer in 2022. His background includes in-house editorial content creation, business and marketing advisory, and English consulting experience developed across Shanghai, Taipei, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Amnesty International Australia has appointed Andrew Beswick as Strategic Communications Manager. After a long previous stint at Amnesty managing campaigns and communications up until 2016, he has returned to lead media strategy and digital comms for its human rights campaigns.

Following his earlier tenure, Andrew went on to work in senior roles across the not-for-profit and government sectors, including at Oxfam Australia, Wyndham City Council and National Disability Services.
