David Sharaz has joined independent Australian political activist group, GetUp! as Media and Campaigns Lead, bringing experience in strategic communications, media relations and public affairs.
In his new role, he will help strengthen GetUp’s national media and campaign capability, with a particular focus on press accountability, transparency, and building public pressure for stronger democratic safeguards.
David previously worked in-house within the government sector, following a career in journalism at Southern Cross Austereo, Sky News, SBS and WIN.
