Claire Knox takes up a senior promotion

Jonathan Rose will commence as Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer APAC at Bupa in November 2026.

He brings more than 25 years’ experience in comms across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, with senior roles at Rio Tinto, General Motors, Telstra, Cricket Australia, NAB and previously, Bupa Australia.

Bupa APAC CEO Nick Stone said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jonathan back to Bupa. He brings deep experience in corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement, and his leadership will strengthen our ability to deliver on our purpose and support the continued growth and success of Bupa across the region.”

Alana Buckley-Carr has joined the defense sector as Head of Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement at H&B Defence. She was at BHP for over five years, most recently as Communications Manager. Prior to this, Alana worked in corporate affairs across the energy, mining and not-for-profit sectors, following a career in journalism.

The NRMA has brought in Jemma Ibbotson-Hansen as Communications Partner, Roadside. She was previously at Sainsbury’s for nearly three years, most recently as Strategic Communications Manager. Prior to this, Jemma was at Commonwealth Bank and Ogilvy PR.
