Apple names Public Relations Manager

Sedgwick Communications has welcomed Jess Phillips as Communications Consultant, as the business continues to grow its strategic communications capabilities across public relations, social media and influencer marketing, and more.

She joins with over seven years of agency experience in Sydney and London, across a range of sectors, including FMCG, lifestyle, wellness, retail, financial services and travel.

Sedgwick Communications Managing Director and Founder, Laura Sedgwick, said Jess had already made a strong and positive impression in her first days with the agency.

Richard French has been appointed Senior Media Advisor at Queensland Health. He joins from Nine radio, where he reported across breaking news, major events and sport. Prior to his time in media, French held communications roles with the construction and transport sectors. 

Edelman has welcomed back Madeline Garisto with a new role as Associate Client Director. She was at alt/shift/ for two years as Senior Account Director.

Madeline initially joined Edelman in 2022 and prior to that was at That Communications Company.
