Anthem strengthens corporate communications capability with two new appointments

Integrated communications and marketing agency, Anthem, has strengthened its leadership and consultancy team with the appointments of Conor Roberts and Alicia Lemmer.

Conor brings experience as a senior corporate affairs and public relations practitioner. His background includes advising on financial, government relations, investment and M&A communications, as well as leadership and senior roles for in-house communications functions at One NZ and NZ Super Fund.

Alicia recently graduated from AUT and has experience in advocacy, governance, and public sector engagement.

Anthem Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Carolyn Kerr, said the appointments reflect increasing client demand for senior strategic counsel alongside development of the next generation of communications talent.

"In his Executive Director role, Conor provides clients deep experience across strategic corporate affairs, reputation, stakeholder and crisis management at a time when organisations are operating under unprecedented scrutiny," said Carolyn.

Netflix taps former Google comms leader for APAC role

Netflix has appointed Joy Albert as Vice President of Communications for the Asia Pacific region, effective 9th March 2026, as announced by Chief Communications Officer, Dani Dudeck.
Based in Singapore, Joy joins from Google, where she spent more than 12 years leading communications and public affairs across Asia Pacific for the Google brand and YouTube. Early in her career, she advised technology, media, and consumer goods brands across Asia and Europe, including FrieslandCampina, Burson, and Bertelsmann.

Alae Khaldi moves to Saudi Arabia, takes on new hospitality role

 Alae Khaldi has joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts as Cluster Director of Communications. Moving to Saudi Arabia from Bali, he is responsible for leading integrated marketing, communications, digital and visual content efforts for the pre-opening of several Rosewood properties: Rosewood AMAALA and Rosewood Red Sea. 

In Bali, Alae was a Multi-Property Director of Marketing Communications for The St.Regis and The Luxury Collection. Before that, he was in comms roles with Banyan Tree Group in Thailand and Morocco.

On his appointment, Alae said, “Rosewood has always stood apart for the way it tells stories that feel considered and deeply rooted in place. To join the brand at this moment, and to help shape the narratives of two new destinations in Saudi Arabia, is both a responsibility and a privilege. I’ve been deeply impressed by the country, its culture, and its vision for the years ahead.
