A. Lange & Söhne brings in former agency person

Luxury watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne has welcomed Dana Hijazi as Brand Communications and PR Manager. In her new role, she focuses on developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies designed to enhance A. Lange & Söhne's brand visibility, reputation, and engagement with its clientele.

Based in Dubai, her focus encompasses managing public relations initiatives, fostering media relationships, overseeing brand messaging, and coordinating communication efforts to ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence.

Dana switched into the in-house role following more than four years with HFA Consultancy.

Most recently, she was Regional Director - Corporate Communications at Sinclair in Hong Kong. Her career includes pivotal roles at brands and agencies, including FedEx Express APAC, Ketchum, Duhno Marketing, WPP, We. Communications, Archetype, and Adfactors PR.

Powerhouse has brought in Sarah Smith as its new Head of Communications. In her role, she will be leading communications and reputation for the opening of Powerhouse Parramatta and across Powerhouse Ultimo, Castle Hill and Sydney Observatory.

She was formerly Head of Communications at Sydney Opera House and Head of Marketing & Communications at Bundanon Trust. Her broader career includes senior communications roles with the Foxtel Group, ABC, Fairfax Media, Stan / Nine Entertainment and Universal Music Australia, as well as consulting across the cultural, media and entertainment sectors.
