Vimita Mohandas lands a new role

The Ministry of Transport, Singapore has welcomed Vimita Mohandas as its Senior Assistant Director, Partnerships, Engagement and Strategic Communications. In this role, she oversees the strategic communications functions and branding efforts of the Ministry, including collaborating with policy divisions, statutory boards and key stakeholders.

Vimita was most recently in the Media Relations team at the Ministry of Health, Singapore. Before transitioning to government communications, she was a TV news correspondent.

She also coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance, works to safeguard the organisation’s reputation, and supports project delivery in line with Taiwan’s energy policy goals.

Peggy brings 17 years of experience across the media, transport, and energy sectors, having previously held senior GR/PR roles at BlueFloat Energy and Ørsted. Before pivoting into comms, she was a TVBS news anchor and cross-Strait correspondent.
