Christopher Daguimol has been appointed Head, Brand and Strategic Communications at Lions Befrienders, a social service agency in Singapore. In his new role, he leads the organisation's branding and media initiatives.

Having more than 18 years of communications experience, Christopher has managed both local and regional communications for organisations such as Ogilvy, Sofitel, and ZALORA Group. He also owns a communications consultancy, where he provides communications advice for clients including the Philippine Fashion Week.

Wanderlust Union has been appointed as the official PR agency for Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. The agency has been engaged to deliver a communications strategy that positions the luxury hotel as a cultural, wellness, and lifestyle destination.

BPR adds two Australian elite athletes to its team

Belinda Public Relations (BPR) has announced the appointment of two new PR professionals to their growing team:

  • Former Australian elite springboard diver, Kate Rosman, has joined the agency with experience in PR, marketing, and community engagement. Her expertise includes media relations, social media management, copywriting, and event coordination, with a focus on initiatives that create positive community impact. At BPR, Kate has supported projects such as the annual SkyCity KickStart for Kids Against Period Poverty fundraiser.
  • Women's National Premier League player, Chrissie Zikos, has been welcomed to the agency. She has experience across the lifestyle, fashion, retail, events, sport, and not-for-profit sectors. Chrissie's skills include social media strategy, content creation, influencer engagement, copywriting, and event management.

Both Kate and Chrissie will support a range of BPR's clients including the Garden of Unearthly Delights, Craig Caldicott Lawyers, The Hurley Hotel Group, KickStart for Kids, Indulgence Food Design, and other projects spanning lifestyle, community and events.

Their appointments come at a time of growth for the agency, following a series of new clients, including 25 STAY ALIVE, M2 Custom Homes, and Umi Resort.

Antony Perry has stepped up as Senior Director, Public Affairs and Advocacy at Universities Australia. He first joined the team in 2022 and was most recently Director, Government Relations and Public Affairs. 

Antony was previously working in comms across the government, health and broadcast media space.
