Emergent adds seasoned communications leader to advisory team

Evelyn Tay has been appointed Senior Advisor at Emergent, bringing more than 25 years of global communications and public affairs leadership experience across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. including roles as Uber and Tesla.

Most recently, she served as VP of Communications, Public Affairs and ESG at foodpanda, and as Delivery Hero’s interim Global Head of Public Affairs. Across these roles, Evelyn has guided companies through regulatory and reputational challenges, while leading crisis and issues management strategies.

“I’m energised by helping organisations drive transformation and shape what's next,” she said.

“Public affairs, when done right, bridges innovation with trust and understanding - the foundation for lasting impact. Emergent’s mission to help emerging technologies grow responsibly and confidently is one I admire.”

Lucia is also responsible for developing broker enablement programmes, delivering internal communications, and partnering with global teams to ensure alignment with the brand’s strategic priorities.

Now based in Dubai, she brings more than 16 years of marketing experience in the property sector to the role, having held marketing and comms leadership roles at Savills and JLL in Singapore, and most recently with Trammell Crow Company in the UK.

Rebecca Chippindale takes up new opportunity in the health sector

Rebecca Chippindale has started a new contract role at eHealth Queensland as Principal Communications Officer working with the 5-year plan project team. She has recently finished a stint at the Australian Digital Health Agency, where she held a marketing and communications role. Prior to this, Rebecca worked agency-side at BBS Communications following stints in banking, infrastructure, federal and state government in both Australia and New Zealand.
